HERITAGE VILLAGE - Rockhampton

The Rockhampton Heritage Village is an active township museum where visitors can experience the rich and colourful history of the Rockhampton District.
Situated just past the Yeppoon turn-off on the Bruce Highway, the Heritage Village is located on 18 hectares of native bushland. The Village is a unique recreation of original buildings, homesteads and businesses from the 100-year period between 1850-1950.
The village takes tours, but is also host to Rockhampton Heritage Village Markets which include hand made products, natural organic produce, clothing, art and craft, food and beverage.
The Rockhampton Heritage Village Markets are hosted every second month with stall holder numbers ranging between 120-150+. These Rockhampton Markets often attract a croud of more than 4000 people.
Entry to the rockhamptom markets is by gold coin and the gates open at 8am (sorry no dogs are allowed). The Heritage VIllage is found past the Yeppoon Plenty of off street parking!!!
With live entertainment, working demonstrations, vintage car, stage coach and horse rides its a fun day at the markets not to be missed!
