Born 25/12/16, she is a pure Miniature Meditaranean Donkey, with great mostly grey, white and brown colouring in her background.
Sophia is a gentle creature. When she came to our farm, she arrived with several other miniature donkeys. One of which is part of our now breeding team - Louella. However, she was around 12mths old when we purchased her and Sophia immediately took on the role of mothering her on their long trip from Victoria to Central Queensland, and that relationship stands to this day!
Sophia has birthed all solid coloured foals to date, one being the Foal of the Year from the farm we purchased her from. And her foals personalities are as sweet, loving, kind and inquisitive - as she is herself. She is pregnant with her next foal due from 20/08/24 to our herd sire Shadow.
